Anyone here win/go for the new AA Toxic Eater? Sort of relieved I didn't after seeing the paint app though...

That was a very strange release, with no color product pic, or price given.

That thing is horrible.

It really was. Almost as if they knew it was a bad color way and were afraid people might not enter if they saw it first..

well, that photo that was just posted above is a mock up in photoshop, with what appears to be red base vinyl. in any case, it doesnt look good to me.

I know the person who runs AA has taken up an airbrush REALLY recently, was this an edition put out by them specifically? Because dang, that doesn't look like Izu paint app. That looks like it was painted by someone who seriously needs to take a class on Color Theory.

Can we complain some more about custom paint apps on SB? This actually looks better to me than some of Izu's work. I dig it!

I think AA did paint them, its just a weird choice of colors IMO. I know a lot of people didn't like last years either, but I actually liked those quite a bit. Was expecting something more along those lines, this one was a bit too random for my tastes though.

As did I.... Maybe not? Im not fully in the loop on this figure. Regardless some look great, mediocre, and like shit.

Space Toxic Eater one-off from 5/14

Sadly it looks like someone tried doing something with its eye after Izu took pics of it for his website.....not sure if I should keep it as it is or put in a plastic eye

So somebody bought it from Izu, paid money for a one-off and then tried to customize it themselves? After failing to do something with the eye they re-sold it?

Looks like it was centered only around the eye.....no color additions/changes to the body....can't see it being damaged in shipping before I purchased it second hand since mark is to centered.....could've been someone thinking it would be easy to push a plastic eye into the vinyl.....who knows.....stunning custom none the less.

Man that's annoying that somebody who wasn't that attached to the one-off scribbled over it before deciding to sell it.. I guess curcumstances could have come up, who knows. But drawing/marking a one-off.. fuck that!

Should be easy enough to spray over that with proper vinyl paint or pop an eye in there I guess. Initially i thought they had cut the eye socket out and placed styrofoam or something dumb in there, but after checking it out again it looks like they just scribbled some marker on there?

I like the way Grizlli painted the teeth on that. It looks a little less goofy then the sculpt with teeth.
