man, I like Skullpirate a lot but lately it has been to difficult to follow.
First was the Desert Gold/Berrystomper/10th anniversary wave.
Now is the "It's a girl"/Rust/Handpainted.
Yesterday, I had 2 SP missing (not couting the Raider version), this morning, I have 4 missing...damn !
Without being disrespectull to Pushead, that is the kind of sales management that almost kills the collecting hobby.
Within one year, 12 SP have been released !!!

it is just too much at the same time

Imo, I couldn't be happier their are alot more pirates coming out. I would love one atleast monthly personally, favorite SB sculpt and the one I care the most about (would love endless KVPs too). I am so happy that they are atleast putting a effort into putting out handpainted production versions knowing the actual HPs are near impossible to obtain. Seeing teasers of that new HP kills me though, with the rise in popularity its going to be a joke to try and get one.

I'm not against the fact they have release a lot of pirates, it's just as you said that they should do it every month...
Anyhow, collecting is fun as it is, but when you're a completist as I am, it can be really frustating !!

I love the Pirate.....wouldn't mind if they made 100 more. I'm depressed because there are an increasing number of them that I will never have a chance to get

secret base has always had an intense release schedule, hitting you with one thing after the other with no breaks
that's why most people give up being completists
as for Pushead handpaints last year, they went for a couple hundred a piece.

Well I have some more bad/good news for you. After comic con you'll be missing 6 pirates. Sorry to say, there are 2 other colors in the mystery bag from what I've heard.
I'm excited, but I know for completists it's a killer.

I'm depressed...
Well, are the mystery bag not intended to the handpainted version only ?
So that would mean there will be 3 SP released during SDCC...or I'm wrong ?

shite i wish I was going to SDCC now, looks like ill be looking for more than just the FC pirate now, although if they are handpaints we can count them as customs and not theorically a production piece so that makes me feel slightly better...too much too much!

yeah, it's pretty depressing when people in front of you buy 1-3 handpaints and you stand in back and can't do anything about it. well i guess i could have, but i'm not violent. still had fun though

Last year we could only get one of each item available and there were only three HP skullwing, two HP pirates, and I think 11 HP KxP. . .

no.. you were allowed one of each item. so if there was a pirate, skullwing, and kaws x pus there, you could get one of each (there were only 2 pirates).
