 Gogamezilla on ebay
I almost pulled the trigger on this, but after checking my bank accounts I wised up. It's just too rich for my blood right now.

I think I saw that last week. I would have definitely pulled the trigger if it were a clear with innards. Just plain unpainted clear orange does nothing for me (aside from it being an awesome sculpt, of course).

Damn!!! That was fast. Congratulations, Pickleloaf! I was hoping it wouldn't sell which I would have read as it being overpriced. I may have to start a seperate savings fund just for a Gogamezilla should another one turn up. CRAP!!!!

just dont tell me if it was overpriced
it just was exactly how much i set aside for sdcc stuff... but i didnt get any of it so essentially the money was spent anyway
i am trying to rationalize it to myself that way at least

I'm surprised Playdohpunk sold this, but I believe he has another as well. Congrats Pickle! Clear orange beauty.

It had been up for awhile. I've been keeping my eye on the goga for a while now. Trying to pick a solid painted or a clear guts myself and I'm jealous of the older guys who got the Paul kaiju collab.
But don't feel too bad one has sold for 195 on ebay before and i saw some guy on YJA try to sell one for 100,000 yen LOL.

Don't stress too much on the price pickleloaf. It's a natural for your collection besides being one of the greatest dino-kaiju sculpts.
It wouldn't surprise me if they go for even more in the next couple of years anyway. Show us some pics when it arrives!

FYI i paid $225 for that gogamezilla from a long standing member here back when i first joined. I did not make a thing off of it.
the one i still own i paid $200 for, once again from a member here.
I also had another long standing member here who offered me one for $300.
you know who you are. i do not feel the need to call you out, as i don't mind when i have to pay flipper prices becasue i am getting something i want and the flippers have been my salvation many a time. I appreciated the fact that you offered at all. If i choose to pass would be my implication that i thought it not worth that much.
however, i see i was named.
ps. pickleloaf evidentally thought it worth that much as well. i think it's terrible that others would make him feel like he wasted his money after he spent it becasue when he was spending it, he thought different. I still believe i didn't waste my money because i LOVE my gogamezilla. it's the most awesome sculpt of any toy i have ever seen. i don't regret spending a dime. $425 of them.....and in all this time, i have also not seen another one come up.

??? I didn't think this was an issue as I'd seen the store referred to a few times publicly before.
Nothing bad intended. I just knew you were really fond of the Goga, which is why I said I was surprised by the sale.

no, it's really not an issue xoco and i didn't mean to make it one....it just pisses me off tho when people who should know better go around pointing the finger saying flipper...when
a) they don't know how much the seller paid for the piece and
b) it was flipped right off of here.
and you are right, i wasn't going to sell it becaseu i was saving it for a custom that i was gonna ask paul kaiju to do of it, but when SDCC came up, all kinds of things went up on the chopping block that i normally wouldn't have considered selling. A LOT of people had their eye on this baby tho, becasue just this afternoon about an hour before it sold, i got an email from someone in SF wanting to know if they bought it, could they pick it up and i told him if he was gonna buy it, he better do it quick because i was gonna remove him from sell ( and i was on weds) but, dammit, pickleloaf bought it first and to tell you the truth, i feel like i lost more than $225.
and one more thing, i am not trying to stir up anything, i simply wanted to state the price i paid for the item that is in question and to point out that it came from here. i'm not saying anything bad about any person...i just don't like the implications that this thread has in it and that i am the only pubicly named one. it makes me look bad when, if you look, my prices on ebay are extremely fair and quite often, better than fair. If you see something like the KAWS piece i had had up there and priced at the high end, you can bet that i don't really want to get rid of him. i'm sure i'm not the only one who has done that here, maybe the only one publicly...

I reread the thread and no one is pointing the figure at you and calling you a flipper. Jeebus.
