I like the back piece, but don't care for the "J" in the middle of it. Also, it looks too similar to Skull Toys. Good first sculpt, but I'd make it more unique before you start casting.

Oh. Well in THAT case...
(I thought it was just someone who took "inspiration" from Skull Toys and wanted to make their own figure. I hardly ever click links to read blogs and such.)

I think this sculpt is killer! Only thing I dont care for is that J on the back. There is so much space there you could utilize rather than putting a simple J. Just my two cents. great sculpt though!

Looks good. That "j" on the back is a bit crude tho. I'd make it a raised sculpt like the RxH popsoda letter or something similar. Better yet do it in raised kanji..How big is it?

I love it, as with any Skull Toys related-toy. I can't wait to see what you guys do with it.

I, too, am not sure what to think about the "J" on the back. My name starts with a J, so I think that's pretty cool in a way, but I also think it would do without.

I'm sorta in agreement with Data -- I wouldn't do much with it, although I can't help feel that the legs (between the waist and the knees) and the arms seem to be a bit low on detail compared to the rest of the body. Maybe throw a texture on them? something to break up the overall smoothness.

What I do suggest is the paint -- with all of the various elements I can see some nice color fades going on :D

i think its rad! a cool update on the doku-rocks. I also dig the back just the way it is. its a cool contrast to have this solid clean sculpt, then a big crudely carved letter on the back of it.

You only do that after you milk the mini market with 6-10 releases.
