Ok, so speaking from the land of occaisonal insanity bidding.....this was ri-donkulus.

To clarify: It is one of two old school orange Bigaros produced. This is the "companion" to OG orange Chaos....orange with Green highlights, photo from the dub's flickr:



The "other" orange bigaro has light blue highlights.....and YES, absolutely shill bids in this case. Two new bidders with only "1" for feedback each. Shigahara_naguchi is a legit bidder....

This is more than I shelled out for the 1 of 2 jump rope filled patchi Bigaro last fall.

it's also one of those situations where i think the "insanity-i-need-to-win" aspect takes over in people's heads. it's happened to me before, but just before i get too crazy the reality sets in. for some people this probably doesn't happen. i can't look at the auction here to decide what i think.

The whole MIB thing actually adds to the ridiculousness of this. Japanese collectors especially place a premium on figures that are still bagged....but even so in this case, I don't think this figure should have reached more than $450 even in a semi-heated battle between bidders.
