yes, these are nice. was hoping they would be under 1000yen considering their size, still a must have just for the colours the details are pretty impressive for a fun little toy. nonetheless, there is really a message inside the coffin package.

Re: Secret Base Micro Infection Monsters
Dang, when I saw the first shots I was hoping this guy would be fight figure sized and really wanted one. My mini bees and brains are just sitting in a box somewhere. That's what happens to all the minis I pick up, they're just too small to look good displayed. Still, I might grab a few if the local kaiju store carries them, but probably won't spend EMS for them.

Re: Secret Base Micro Infection Monsters
to buy or not to buy, this one is a tough choice. I like these but they just don't seem to fit with anything.

Re: Secret Base Micro Infection Monsters
I like secret base but what exactly do people like about this? The fact that it's a skeleton? Or is it the fact that they are secret base? To me..the paper coffin looks a little cheap and I have a hard time differentiating these between 99 cent store items I see at the halloween store every October.

Re: Secret Base Micro Infection Monsters
...that it could be part of the M.U.S.C.L.E. lineage. They should do a fleshy colour.
The way SB is with the madball references previously could mean the 99cents cheap figure is what they were intending, but at SB prices
I like them, but shipping essentially makes them too expensive for what they are.

Re: Secret Base Micro Infection Monsters
I agree - these would be awesome if u could just walk into SB and pick one up, or maybe order along with something else. On their own shipping is a bit prohibitive. There is indeed a flesh version as well. I like that idea of producing something u (in this case Hiddy) just like and to hell with sales. Thats why we get the 12" suits - without that approach we'd never see em and the'dy go the way of the (sadly missed) Gargamel fights. Re: Secret Base Micro Infection Monsters
I agree I'd pick these up and form an army if they were at the dollar store or target, but to buy this stuff from secret base its more the same as buying some label clothing just because of the name on the label. bryce_r wrote: I like secret base but what exactly do people like about this? Re: Secret Base Micro Infection Monsters
for me the draw was the size.. but then i do love minis. so i ordered two to offset the cost, when i split it down the middle they cost the same per piece with shipping as minis i ordered domestically last month... so i'm happy.
