ah.. just playin' poker at a friends place.. actually, i didn't lose that much.. but lost enough to not make an impluse buy to see how big this thing yet. i haven't seen the movie yet... but I have never seen a Miyazaki movie that wasn't great.

I got 'Grave of the Fireflies' for my 11 year old daughter for her birthday, not quite understanding what it was I was getting for her.

We watched it together and appreciated it but, as my daughter said: "It's not really a birthday gift kinda movie, dad".

True, true . . .

Next year I'll give her 'Barefoot Gen'. That should make up for it.

i actually think Howl's Moving Castle is my fave Miyazaki now.

Still a very good movie, but by far not my favorite miyazaki....Actually i just realized it's the only one I don't own, and haven't felt compelled to get.
