 Bemon Talk!
What a whacked out toy!
The one I got is a dull light blue vinyl.
It came with a silk-screened header card.
Inside with the figure was a smaller bag with a folded
"catalog" of Bemons plus a folded piece of news print
with info about various scary shirts (but I didn't see
an ordering address).
The whole package has a punk DIY feel. The news print
was total cut and paste style.
Now, I know some of you guys have MANY Bemons.
Did all of your releases come with similar stuff and, if different, what stuff?????

Yeah, well, welcome to Bemon addiction. This is the usual Bemon pack... at least it was for the hand-painted guys.

I've got two clears, they came with nothing except the header.

Think the poster depicts all the bemons in that particular "run".
I love the header cards...SVHC!
I really want a shirt too...I know VGA has one.

Well, Geo. Tell us more...how many do you have?
Are the exact same goods in the package with the Bemon?
Is the same thing printed on the poster and news print?

I only have three (though I think my three are particularly nice, each for different reasons based on paint jobs and the vinyl - clear and opaque).
The poster is different in each pack depending on which batch your hand-painted Bemon came from. In my case, I have Bemons from 3 different batches, so each of the posters is different. The news print, as far as I can tell, is the same for each batch that I have.
I have pics on my flickr account.

Ramos and I scored Bemon t-shirts.
I am not sure how I feel about the factory paint bemon. They have better paint aplications and they are all still slightly different (I have seen four of the new blue) but it seems less interesting, more like Bemon prints.

What do you mean by "better paint applications"?

they are "better" as in no clumps of paint, more uniform, factory applied.

Hmmm... I don't believe my hand-painted have clumps of paint... and I like them especially because the paint is not "uniform" in the sense it doesn't look like a machine did it.

I don't think a machine painted the new version but it was not Mr. Bemon.

I got slapped on the hand for painting a Bemon. I was told also that I couldn't sell my 1 off painting by Mr. Bemon himself. Makes me want to bootleg some Bemon shirts. I'm a Bemon addict.

For painting a toy, or making your painting? I can understand his rationale for not wanting you to SELL your painting, but beyond that...

WTF?
I'd do it anyway. Bemon belongs to the people.

That's a shame. I could understand if it was made to look like someone else's artwork (like those people who make "KAWS inspired" paintings" and sell them on eBay). But your painting looks way better than anything I've seen associated with Bemon, and has your style all over it. If I were Mr. Bemon I'd be asking to buy that painting, instead of saying you couldn't sell it!

The pink one is really sick! I'm really regretting not grabbing the black or yellow form S7...
Anyone know what's the best paint for, um paint one?
