just wondering if anyone knows whether the black unpainted pharaos & the black spray GID nougaki body with goat head were sale items?? protos??? or one-offs??

I believe they were all for sale. But I think they were all sold out instantly. I'm not sure if the Black proto Pharos was for sale. It can be a sample. But that goat head nougaki looks cool in person.

cronics are really hard to get. I don't know if it's true but I heard they do low runs on everything pinstripped cause they do it all by hand using a really small brush.Amazing!!! I don't think I can pinstripe 50~100 figures. So they do go really fast. I'm still trying to get Cronic toys myself. Good luck to you.

Jeb, the Black spray GID Nerd One 2nd anniv. Nougaki (man, that's a mouthful!) was on sale at WF, I believe. I'll try to find out the edition size for you.

BTW, Cronic is one person (Koiwa-san) doing everything, which is why the runs of all his figures are so low.

there were at least 15 Nougaki made... i dunno about the ones with horns though. that one is dope

That head was made by Nerd One and was the only Nougaki sold at WF. I don't think we'll be seeing it again, if history is any indication, since the Nerd One sculpt used for the mask for the 1st anniv. Cronic Zyuraiasu was never used again.

Some previous Nougakis have been made in editions of 5.

Ah, you mean the 2007 Lucky Bag figures, made in 5 different colors? (Black wasn't one of them, though.) For example:

Man, that 2nd anniv collab photo is EXCELLENT! It really shows off the symmetry between the horns and the short Nougaki arms. That along with the eerie eyes and paint scheme really make the figure stand out. Gorgeous.

WOAH that's the first time I've seen that Nougaki! (the bottom one) Was somebody selling that as well? Wonder why it didn't show up in any of the WF pic sets we've seen....

Or did it come with the Skullhead figure??? (An interchangeable head, as was suggested)????

No not from auctions, auction had picture of just horned head one, but I think they are one and the same (interchangeable)
