^^UGH! I expected better! sorry for "your loss" andy.

My hook-up took her sis and picked up 2 from the show! . . . This was the worse of the pair . . . she's being real cool and and is gonna send the other (it also has misaligned detailing on body patch but not quite as drastic).

That said, it would be nice not to have to risk the $$$ (plus Int'l shipping) and ending up with a crapper . . . that's why I stopped buying fuckin' Du**y's!

Hope all you guys fair better! :?

I have a Batman version SB. The minute I took it out and held it up, one part of the head paint peeled off and floated onto the table. First time I have experienced this in collecting toys.

I haven't had anything that bad on SB, but I did find a kind of cracked/peeling paint patch on a Chaos.

I tried scrubbing it out... water soap q-tips. It just clean the brown hue off of it. The main goo spot will not come out. It must be glue. oh well.. I'll love it regardless

I guess I have been really lucky lately. Even my Space Barbarian is pretty solid. Not perfect, but very decent.

i actually believe a tad bit of "fickleness" is creeping into some of this.

there seems to be LOTS of SB selling (cool - i'm buying!) and my guess is that it's not CURRENTLY flavor of the day.

personally...the SB stuff that I have is GREAT DESIGN and qauality craftsmanship.

Not 'fickle' here! My collection's demanding a new case . . . just a concern that the quality of the older pieces which originally attracted me to collecting seems to be on the slide on the newer stuff!

Maybe it's just the fact that the designs Hiddy and the SB guys are comin' up with are pushing the production boundaries but it would be nice to retain the QC . . .

I thought you sold off most of your SB collection a while ago?

Got my Space Barbarian today, and the helmet is a bit foggy in some spots, but no pealing or cracking. Sucks to hear people having issues :(. Just when you start to think Japanese toys are the only ones with good quality...

Oh well... not bad for free :)

My overall opinion about SB is mixed; I like them, but I feel that for the prices they're asking, they could be better--or the best. Some folks love SB--that's cool. I'm not trying to blast them. I just like other stuff more.

I wanted to try SB out--they're really cool, but not my favorite--and I don't have the funds to own a little of everything out there that I want, so I guess I'm developing a concentration of gargamel. Luckily, my collection is only in it's beginning stages, so I haven't invested too far into one thing.
