VGA was an inspiration to me through his enthusiasm and focus. It is never easy when someone so young passes, but Brian's family should know that he had a positive spirit that touched us all. His contributions to this community will be missed.

RIP, Brian Rollins, may your glow never fade.

This is so shocking...very sad.
Brian/vga was one of the first people I traded PM's with after joining the board. He was a very nice dude, had great taste and focus in collecting, and I always looked forward to his posts.

My best to his family; I will really miss his presence here.
Glow on, Brian.

Amber, we appreciate you letting us know - In these circumstances, often a person's dotcomrades never know why a friend vanishes. Please let his family know that Brian was connected with many dozens of people all over the world through his hobby, and his knowledge, generosity and enthusiasm will be genuinely missed.

RIP, Brian

wow, now that was a shock. I had talked with him a bunch over the years. He was an honest-to-god nice guy who was very enthusiastic about his interests and more than willing to help out myself and anyone on this board. One of the good ones and may he rest in peace.

I never met Brian, but I got a random PM from him one day mentioning that his toy connection in Japan could probably get me a set of figures I had mentioned in a post I regretted not buying.

A month later, those toys were sitting in my hand. It was the most generous thing someone could do out of the blue and it totally opened me up to the community of toy collectors, and broke me out of the mentality of a bunch of peope posting about toys.

I've read through this post several times and I still can't believe it. Thanks Amber for letting us all know. RIP VGA and thanks for everything! You will be missed. My thoughts are with all of your loved ones and family.

From a fellow toy lover and Union brother, our thoughts are with his family.

I hope he is in place with frolicking Bemons and where everything glows.

I can't believe it. :(

You will truly be missed. Amazing guy and collector. I always had to save his pics of his collection. His Dehara collection blew my mind. One of the first people to join my mailing list and buy from me.
This is really sad.

I was just joking with Dehara about collectors like him. We thought dudes like him might actually fly out to Tucson for our show.

You will be missed.

I admired VGA's collection shots as others here have mentioned and they certainly served as inspirational for my collecting habits.
