Re: New Medicom
I don't think the Vinyl Artist Gatcha acronym was the best choice.

Re: New Medicom
What is with Toy Tokyo advertising old Godzilla Vinyl Wars releases as "Toy Tokyo Exclusives" all over instagram? Maybe they have been inhaling too many Funko fumes since filling their bottom level with them

Can't wait for those mini Rangeas(es). I am not that experienced with Medicom releases. Maybe someone is willing to point me in the direction of where I will get those?

Im looking as well, Lulubell just got the first round of the gatcha series. So I'm hoping they will get this next wave too!

Re: New Medicom
^ I think the Cobra and Chameleon are Middle Size figures (approx 15cm tall). And the Komori Otoki bat is a standard size figure (approx 24cm tall)

Re: New Medicom
^ I think the intention is to complete a full range of Standard size figures, and now this is the second wave of Middle size figures. So hopefully they will continue both lines. I really like the Middle size figures! They are a bit pricey though because Medicom doesn't have the licence to sell to overseas customers. The header cards on the Middle size figures have a distinct retro style and look very cool!

Re: New Medicom
These are still licensed under TOEI. But I couldn't figure out who's the sculptor. Unifive is not in the picture? I'm with Chris in wishing that the original mold were used.

Re: New Medicom
I could see that middle sized Cobraman growing on me now knowing it's size (Butanohana) now, but only if buying it was effortless. The whole middleman thing really tends to be the deciding factor anymore. I was really happy with my last used service just I like to be able to buy instantly myself (or order). Medicom really is in overdrive producing older toy lines. I was with them while they were doing closer to original molding on reissues (i.e. Triton of the Sea, Devilman, Yonezawa) but the streamlined newer molds of old toys aren't hitting me in the right spot.

Re: New Medicom
@Lalo- thanks for the info. Bearmodel seems quite involve with all these Medicom releases. @Lixx- I'm not sure if its the sculpt or the paint job. But i too find it a little too clean or refine?

Re: New Medicom
Medicom RI vs Sofvi Life original Pretty Godzilla. Quality & size are identical, the colors are quite a bit different as you can see...

Re: New Medicom
I dunno if there are too many robot fans lurking about these days, but this puts a tingle in my naughty bits: Of course, it helps that I grew up in New England, where Force Five: Starvengers (Getter Robo G) was a very popular cartoon in the early 80's. Anyway, preorder here: http://sofvi.tokyo/150301_0022/And while you're at it, preorder half a dozen of 'em. The more action Getter Dragon gets, the more apt they'll be to produce Getters Liger and Poseidon.

I was psyched to see that Lulubell has the Getter Dragon pre-order available for only $75.

Saw that one last night, unfortunately it doesn't do it for me like that weird purple and green one does. Guess I'll have to find someone to get one for me!
