Re: Jet Turre?
im assuming the arms rotate, and if thats not a real cut at the waist then theres probably some articulation at the legs or something underneath

Re: Jet Turre?
It looks to me like there is no articulation. Cool figure, but I don't think it fits with my collection. More for everyone else.

The lack of articulation doesn't bother me at all, but it does kind of look like it could be a mini or smaller figure to me - maybe this is why it just has the one 'joint.' Says on the site he is around 9 inches tall, probably the same as the Hormone monster. Really love this guy as well, hes got a great goofy pose.

It's like they took me on this awesome date picked out the perfect movie and restaurant then instead of kissing me goodbye they gave me a side hug. I guess they are just not that in to me... Haha! Couldn't have been better put. Then again, if she's this ugly, she can keep her kisses to herself Honestly though, there are very few artists / companies whose works I've liked in full. Like Utsugiyo, I like all of their stuff, but, ha, they've only produced 3 sculpts so far. Kai Thunder's so great though, that he makes up for 1 or 2 mediocre pieces anyhow... Oh, Kai Thunder, Kai Thunder. Wherefore art thou Kai Thunder?

[Found via Spanky Stokes' Tumblr.] The toy photographer, Shifty, is behind this awesomeness. You can actually purchase 18" x 24" prints if interested! More Info Here : http://spankystokes.tumblr.com/post/45748859938/shifty-x-fugi-mes-kaws-jaws-parody-giclee-print*Even though the release was in Late March, just checked, & there are still some prints available.

Re: Jet Turre?
Wowsers, another killer version! Excellent transition on that figure. I still haven't had any luck finding the release info for the first one, does this mean I already missed it?

Steve, I believe orders for the first version were solicited mid-June.

Love the "melting into water" effect. Really cool and creepy, would love to get one... Thanks for the screenshots ungawa222! Will need to do research into this character.

Re: Jet Turre?
Congratulations to those of you who caught the recent Lulubell Jetturre pre-orders in time! *Images pulled from Lowbrownie.com. For more info. click here : http://lowbrownie.com/jetture-at-lulubell. Is this Kai-Thunder on orange vinyl the same one from Wonderfest? It's good looking.

Re: Jet Turre?
I was alerted to those a few seconds too late and missed out on Kai Thunder. The good news that was pointed out to me is that lulubell is now carrying these and making them a lot easier for people to get. So even though I missed out this time I'm hopeful for future chances. A huge congrats to those who scored.

Re: Jet Turre?
That's Great news! Kai Thunder's by far one of my favorite sought after pieces. Any knowledge on whether he'll be the same version as the pre-order KT? Thanks for that update, David. That news is the perfect end to the 1st day of Shark Week. Sweet dreams, chum.

Re: Jet Turre?
Any ideas why the water monster isn't making it anywhere (Mandarake, Lulu, YJA...)? That's the only one I'm after.

Re: Jet Turre?
I CAN’T BELIEVE I missed the pre-order! Urrrgghh…. if anyone has buyer’s remorse on a Horumura, I will be happy to help you out! I’ll take solace in the thought of future Horumura releases through Lulubell….

after seeing a kai thunder in person, I definitely need one in my life.
It's bigger and more badass than I initially thought

Re: Jet Turre?
Same here. Got to hold a red blank Kai Thunder and it's massive. Of all the incredible details, though, for some reason the anchor lodged in its back is my favorite part. Swiftly followed by the tentacles flowing from its mouth and gills.
