 Re: New Elegab sculpts!
The unpainted dark grayish green is quite nice, especially with the roots on the arms and back. Tail is articulated which was a surprise.
The bright paint wouldn't have worked for me. You do lose a sense of the human vomit, unless you look up close, but that's okay.
Would almost like to see the other sculpts in similar dark unpainted, they'd probably look great as a set. Say a dark purple, a dark blue, a dark red etc. Thinking Marusan Rainbow Pop, but much darker.
Primordial ooze....

Ditto Rich. Kinda bummed I missed the GID version. The face is so good on this sculpt. Let me ask this, does the tail provide balance? It's the only part I don't like.

 Re: New Elegab sculpts!
It kind of provides a visual balance if that makes any sense. the figure stands pretty solidly.

I was thinking the same thing about the tail. If it didn't have the building I can see a hedorah thing. But with the buildings it really doesn't make sense. The colors though are really nice, and that's with me being sick of the overkill of primary colors.

I have to agree with you that the idea behind the tail maybe something that could have been better developed. Maybe a third base with factory, or no smoke at all. But to balance the strange proportions of the toy some extra weight in the back is needed.

 Re: New Elegab sculpts!
I guess there is no crazy hype on his items too, so we still have a chance to win real great amazing toys with him !
There's also two factors : this lottery happens when the 1st version has just been dispatched from Japan, and I'm not so sure Hitogomira has a lot of fans here ?

 Re: New Elegab sculpts!
Glad to hear people did OK. I am bummed because I just haven't dug either Hito paint so far... too much wild color, not enough attention paint to the sculpt.

I was surprised this lottery came so close to the mail out of the first version, barely before there could even be a fan base for this guy. I was just happy my v.1 Hitogomira arrived a day before the lottery deadline. So both factors definitely played into my decision to take a shot at it. Result: I won, too -- Type B. Hitogomira is stunning. And now we have GID Tonneran to think about . . .
