Even if you don't like Prodigy Cliff, no one can deny that the figure is "genius" as in the words of Skinner the artist. Taken from Prolly's blog.http://prollyisnotprobably.com/2010/06/a_saturday_night_roundtable.php#comments Skinner came to hang out with me and Greg while we were doing our post its for the Giant Robot show. Go see his show tonight at the Hope Gallery.

Skinner rules! And so do you, Joel! But these Nags are balls. I thought they couldn't get worse once the hair was added, but I was wrong - adding clothes makes them even worse. These things have gone down hill since the first image in this thread - first the 2nd face, then the hair, now the clothes. I'm hatin'.

The headers are cool and I really like this toy but the clothes and prodigy are terrible. Of all the releases I just don't get these.

I always take clothes off. Don't like them on toys. The paint ap below still looks sweet. I'll just display without the pants if I win the lotto. I'd feel like a dirty mother fucker taking the pants off, but oh well.

even if you have the prodigy one and think it looks cool, how do you deal with the fact that you have to tell all your friends that you have a prodigy-inspired toy in your collection

i mean, it's already bad enough you have a toy collection!

come on, johnny rotten wore plaid pants too!

Sorry if that was a little harsh. I just don't like hair and clothing on my toys. I think these would have made a lot more sense as 1 off for an art show or something.

...

I wasn't going to say anything--and I guess I didn't have too!

I almost was going to make a trip to NYC for this release. holy sh*t, I'm glad I didn't.

I agree with Pogue; maybe as a one-off it would have "worked". still pretty-much sucks though.
bring back the baldies!

By the measure of this thread's bizarre history, that wasn't so harsh, Glenn. It was funny. Even some of the Nag fans don't care for the hair and clothes. I didn't mean to be harsh either. Just clownin'.

I think what most of us (who like the figure) like was it's sculpt made such a great canvas for killer paint apps. Seems a waste to cover it up. Plus, clothes make them too doll-like. Doesn't matter, since there is no way I have a chance at getting one.

I've said what I think about the Firestarter version - but the Iggy version is a perfect fusion of two of my favorite things: Rock n Roll and ugly ass toys. Earlier in teh thread there were comparisons with Iggy, and adding the silver raw power era pants just takes it to the logical conclusion. Pretty funny AND cool. I honestly hope I can score one, and I'm betting more than a few people here wouldnt say no to either of these versions.

No, that's this version. Comes in hippy slacker single or accompanied by frumpy Bemon Mama.
