I guess vinyls have moved on. The toy makers are more Damien Hirst than van Gogh.
I mean Hirst is able to soak a cow in formaldehyde and sell it for gezzillion dollars, whereas, van Gogh died penniless.
I just wished that more of the money goes back to the creators then flippers.
Then again, a significant amount of my collection comes from flippers.
Its a love hate thang.

They are cool, but I ended up selling mine for retail here. I did not need to collect yet another line of toys.

I was thinking the exact same thing
Though it looks like it has some kind of innards already, can't wait to see it in person.

Didn't they just do a run with a set of 5? I forget what the total number of sets produced but I think it was 30-50 which would put the total trooper output at 150-250. It could be done.

I think they'd look great in one solid color - no paint, naturally

That a different concept. You only need the 30-50 people to pick up each set, as opposed to having 150-250 individual toys of the same type floating around, which makes it much more unlikely to sell them all.

not feeling the AZ head at all...I'm a little burnt out on these already, but haven't gotten the plattoon yet in the mail...excited to see what others come up with, though these AZ versions really aren't as good as the first bunch released, IMO anyway.

I think it's cool there are different heads for them that's for sure. I really love the weird new head, and I'm happy a friend got them for me yesterday at the show. After this, I can slow down though.
I've got a great display already waiting for the new boys to arrive!

These guys have always seemed very Mars Attacks to me, but the new head is even more reminiscent of the old kits down to the "ear plugs" and brain heads.
