The pictures were from a official SHB YJA. SHB kept one of each figure for auction after that Dept H event.



There are 5 different heads for each of the 2 different bodies (Kong species and Mutant Space Alien species) used. The only 1 not pictured in the gold is the character Jungle King. But I don't think SHB is going to release that 1 for Design Festa. So only what is in the pictures for now.

That Dept H Robo Kong sold on YJ for just over 35000. It may be my favorite version.

Is there a "B" movie with Astro Kong?

I dunno but I like the idea that the only thing making him "astro" is a horn. Like that'd protect him in space somehow?

When I let my Miborahs out to play, they love going up in space

And clearly to ape inhabited areas to get freaky.

New head sculpt Radar-X.

Looks cool, and very Xenomorph-esque, but more along the lines of his other stuff, and not so much the B-monsters feel.

It kind of reminds me of one of the guys from Hellraiser.

The perfect fusion of Judge Death and a Xenomorph.

I definitely agree that this is more in the direction of his recent Marmit output and not in line with the B-movie sculpts or Kongs.

I personally don't care for it. While the sculpting is insanely good, there's too many skulls out there already and I'm just not 'feeling it.' My bank account sighs in relief.

We must be on the same page vision wise, because I was thinking of sculpting the chatterer as a head soon .

They weren't that cool to begin with, imo.

I get the historical references, and they're a nice touch, but there's something off about the sculpt. That and the meh colors in combination with the high price just makes me say no thank you.

last time I checked, nobody here gave a shit what you think, especially in a thread where people are enjoying discussing what they LIKE about these toys. Just fuck off already.
