Yeah. I would understand unpainted coloured vinyl that brings out the sculpt details but black and GID? I'm waiting to see those mixed versions (if they'll ever be released) or indeed painted versions!

Don't get me wrong...the gid is awesome and blank toys in general work well. But this set was released in black and now GID. We were teased with painted versions...I'd like to see those released.

Also waiting for the clear with mech guts Mazingers!

hopefully the next release will be sold through SB and not blind! GID is great but I agree, i'm really looking forward to the mixed parts.

Same happened with the original versions too . . . painted versions were last on the list.

Licensing restrictions and low runs mean these are always gonna be a pain in the ass to pick up.

Nothing against blank toys and I may very well be crazy (you're not the first person to say so) but I finished up trading my black set after a few days as I really couldn't enjoy the details. I haven't even tried to pick up a GID set, not because I don't like unpainted GID (I actually do on other scales) but because I feel that in this specific case the colour doesn't bring out the details. I guess to each his own.

Now i must agree with LD.
The black set totally rules and nothing brings out the best detail in japanese figures more than black vinyls...to me
Anyhow, from the way hiddy wrote, seems like there will be painted ones after the proto series?

of course I will buy and love all colors unconditionally because I am a trve fan.

the worst part though is displaying these little fuckers. cause as soon as one falls they all go down like dominos.

I lost my devilman helmet during my last move. I enjoy the little guy a lot, but it is a pain to track it all down.

Now I need to figure a way to get the helmet without the body, which is going to be a pain. I could not live in an earthquake zone, shelf diving at my place would thrive like nobody's business.

Well, I guess I could have looked at that. Unless he sold the others it looks like he just went for the big items and screwing others out of the chance of getting them at retail. What a douche!!!
