Initially I thought that as well. But the head just looks so intentionally deformed that it reminded me of ancient cranial deformation. And it just works in my opinion. I could also see it on a body the same size as usugrow toy but it would lose it's appeal.

The head on the skullhevi is oversized, but it's the reference to a birth defect yeah? That's also why he's the hydro devil. The hydro is part of it as well. Hydrocephalus. Water on the brain. Causes an enlargement in the skull.

I like it on the original SB body AND with the boxing glove arms. I'll reserve judgement on the new arms that haven't been released yet, but I'm doubtful.

Guys, we get it. They're being flipped and because of the new head sculpt everyone wants a piece of the action. There's no need for senseless hyping of stupid prices. Originally I thought these were pretty limited, but if a selfish fuck can buy 4 for himself (and with the amount that have already been flipped) then I'm sure there's more out there than we are led to believe.

So you folks with the deep pockets and shallow common sense you know what I hear... that K I D R O B O T company is the one to put your chips on if you want a real winner and I hear they appreciate the hype, go check it out I know I won't be disappointed

This was a zero hype release!

^ He said hyped toy not release, and based on the last page this toy is very hyped. SB does an awesome job at not hyping their releases and getting toys into the hands of collectors as a result.



But then how will anyone know what their toys are "really" worth, leading to a decline in hype, leading to 1/4 of "Pus fans" also losing interest. "Pus fans" can be replaced with any number of names in similar scenarios.

So anyone want to enter into a discussion of skullwing vs skullhevi? I like hevi, but I still prefer skullwing. My wife hit the nail on the head (at least for me) when she said she thought the hevi was "a little too 'goblin-y' then skeleton for her." I think it's the ears...

The SkullHevi reminds of a show that used to be on MTV called The Head, if anyone remembers that. I definitely prefer Skull Wing. The proportions just don't sit right with my eyes, but it is a crazy awesome sculpt with a ton of texture.

As far as hyping up prices, I don't think anyone on these boards is crazy enough to throw down that much on this guy(could easily be wrong). I'd say we're more just discussing how in awe we are that it's already jumped so high and it's insane.
