And now there's a white flocked skullwing up there doing the same damn thing. Pain.

That flocked skullwing is a really nice piece... curious to see what it will go for.

Gonna rain on some parades but whatever.
I think both have historical importance but are otherwise boring.
The white flock I would guess would have to stay bagged to prevent it from turning grey. The GID Ghostfighter nice but not $500 nice.
If I had that spending money free, there's much more exciting stuff to buy and look at. And these ridiculous auctions just keep hyping everything. Not picking on Secret Base. Seen the same stuff with other companies. Just saying...
Bring on the market "adjustment".

I agree with Liquid's thoughts... both being almost the simplest forms possible. I also enjoy the irony that the GID GF being the most expensive one to acquire after they were initially handed out for free ( )
However, I also appreciate the simplicity of them as well... Since the number of hand paint Skullwings is so limited, it feels like the flocks are almost the "next best thing" being the blank canvases so to speak. Also, the GID GF was the first, wasn't it? With a limited number under 35, it seems fitting that it gets the attention that it does.
In the end, what these go for will probably not be the highest they'll ever go for... but it's fun to see the market "go nuts" every so often. I'm sure we'll see the market go "nuts" again and again...

Here, here.
I can't wait till my toys are worthless and I can pick up a bunch more to play with and pose in the sand next to my cacti and actually let people touch them.
(the toys people...)

Geeeeeze the GID Pirate is nearly at $300 wtf? I don't remember it being THAT high before. Then again, is it shilling? "Bidder 3" and "Bidder 5" have been all up on it.

Yeeash, really? I stopped paying attention, to be honest, with most of the Pirates.
