Awesome pics! I really want the Spidey ones, but no money for that right now. I can't wait for the Imperial Guard to hit!

I just did a search on these and got a good look at the Batman figure.
He don't look quite right. The sculpt looks like ,I dunno, "trying too hard" to be designer vinyl? They even said that they where tapping into the "designer toy phnomenon". The boots are painted on instead of being a sculpted detail as Medicom would have done. The fists looks kinda funky even for a deformed style sculpt. Looks like they tried to develop the figure with as few parts as possible to cut cost. I have a very good idea of how much these cost to produce. Judging from the number of parts, the size and the probable high run DC Direct is making a HHHUUUUGGGEE profit by selling it at $59.00. I really wanted to like this figure but pics upclose just turned me the hell OFF. Maybe at $15.00 I can squint enough so it'll look better and buy it. Sorry Monster 5 but I think I'm gonna have to pass.

I've been happy with the Medicom's VCD quality. Nice details and clean paintjobs. I've got the Runaway Brain Mickey, Vader, Boba Fett (took his first shelf dive a month ago and snapped his rifle in half...), Stormtrooper, and the Doraemon line of figures.

That's so weird, Medicom already makes them? They even already have Ghostrider and Wolvie, wtf?
Also I thiunk the DCD ones do seem like they try too hard, DC can be really teritorial with the Bat and Supes, but it's like they've worked with Medicom in the past, why not just go back to them?
