Well the one in Moco's avatar looks like an "Air in Choco" fish cookie.
It's a fish shaped wafer with this weird air-infused milk chocolate inside.
Is that what it is Moco?
By far one of my favorite Japanese confections.
"Taiyaki"
The one on the bunnies head is like a waffle with sweet beans inside. You can get them at most Japanese shopping districts hot out the griddle-mold.
So good with Ice coffee! (And tea!)

Both are "Taiyaki"... and as Paul said, they're like waffle batter that has sweet red bean paste inside. Crispy, warm and yummy... You can get them in San Francisco's Japan Town at the little coffee shop near the entrance to the parking garage.
I don't know the history for why they're fish shaped, but I always get some when I visit S7. Perhaps that's why I'm such a cheery mood whenever I visit.
