 Re: Halloweenland?
I have to admit I was a bit under whelmed myself. The Astro-Brain is awesome but it didn't seem like a Halloween release. I was really hoping for a surprise release pumpkin brain...

 Re: Halloweenland?
Real surprised, as the SB x S7 Halloween collaborations were classic series and generated a bunch of interest and hype for all concerned and the Frankenghost would have been prime for dropping in a Halloween colourway. Thinking out loud (and trying to avoid shitting where I eat) . . . even S7's (non SB) line-up lacked the vavavoom of previous years. Is Halloween all played out?

 Re: Halloweenland?
I think that first black/orange SB/S7 set was amazing and classic and has never been topped as far as a Halloween release goes. I kinda feel that evey Halloween release since, by ANYONE, has been just living in it's shadow. Nice stuff, but nothing as amazing.
I can see taking an H-Ween break to really let something muster up for the next year.

 Re: Halloweenland?
I disagree BD - I think the DIY glow set was pretty cool. People were really excited about that at the time. I forget what last year was off hand, but this year was just a general drought. A bit disappointing because we all look forward to halloween expecting something exciting to drop. Maybe that's the mistake.

Well "people" might have been, but not me, I thought it was boring as hell and had NOTHING "Halloween" about it. (sorry, I really didn't mean for that to sound as agro as it looks, no hard 'tude behind that hahaha.) I think the Death Phantom suite last year was pretty close to being as amazing That original set is amazing though, so simple but so dead on and perfect. I guess it'd be kinda tough to do an original and fun Halloween release year after year. After you run through all of the black, orange, glow, clear orange, GID combos it can get a bit dry. So I certainly can't bash any company, not like I'm a wealth of ideas coming forward. Just my opinion on it.

 Re: Halloweenland?
Did the GID/Orange Pumpkin brain count? Also wasn't the GID Pirate released ON Halloween? Or does that not count because it's Pushead?

 Re: Halloweenland?
I think Voodoo set started in the Spring of 2008 and ended around Halloween.
