Almost positive we haven't seen the release of the cavewoman yet, I'm only speculating but maybe the cavewoman along with this new caveman/ape could be part of a new series of toys, which would explain the delay and also clear up that these may be original designs and not licensed properties like previous releases.

Gotta say, and this by no means is sour grapes, it is almost impossible for me to win a Butanohana YJA auction. I always seem to lose by less than 500 yen. In 4 years of collecting I've only won one Buta auction (Kurozaro) and that was only when not everyone was looking for them. It's cool though, just seems funny to me that I always lose by so little, and I must be losing my knack for guessing end prices. Who's the lucky person that got the Tiki guy?
