It's getting harder and harder to not jump in on these... I think I'll bite for this one.

Damn, I was just rearranging my FiveStar shelf last night (still waiting on one dude to arrive from Japan...otherwise, I'd post pics )...and I realized that it's almost already at critical mass! Adding both of these guys ('cause, yes, I'm gonna need one of Neptune King and one of Big the Budo) is not gonna be easy.

Need a new shelf!

Nutty factoid: While Neptune King was released in the MUSCLE line, Big the Budo wasn't...unless you count his "Mildman" (Mairudoman) disguise.

Anyway, during my shelf-rearranging, I realized that I really, really want a Rikishiman with the front-skirt-thingy (dunno the Japanese name for it...obviously). That MUSCLE figure was one of my favorites growing up!

No release dates yet. This was something they quickly displayed at the Yudetamago talk show event over the weekend. Kind of a last minute surprise for fans.

Can't wait to see the MxMxM and Punk Drunkers versions of this dude....
If the scale is true to the comics/anime, he should be larger than the standard figures (along the lines of Sunshine).

Anyway, thanks kendoka (I used to practice iaijutsu, myself!). But when I look up "tare", I'm only really seeing images on kendo sites of the multi-paneled skirt that Big the Budo's wearing. I'm not getting anything when I look up "sumo tare"...so is that really what Rikishiman is wearing?

New trick to find the complete Five Star Inventory on Mandarake. Search for keywords in Japanese on the English site:

Mandarake is pretty lazy at listing their inventory in English, but this workaround displays everything in stock, and allows you to use the English Language checkout. They list all their Five Star stock in Japanese.
