You realize sometimes that it is 2015 and you've been at this hobby long enough not to give two shits about the flipper discussion, because my mental well being is worth more that the headache.

The toys look great. I'm sure if I had thousands to spare I would buy me a few of them. Or pay someone to be in line for me. Not a Koons though, fuck that guy.

I agree with this. There's no stopping it. It's an inevitable part of commerce. Personally, I don't let it bother me. If someone has access and can turn a profit on something, and someone is willing to pay that premium, so be it. So long as a producer makes his or her products available to consumers, this is going to happen. Your best and only real course of action is to not buy from the flipper. That's it. That is your only recourse. Anything else is you spinning your wheels.

Just saw that the Gargamel mini show that Angel Abby put on ended. Are one off figures really selling for 2-3 thousand dollars or did I see the price tags wrong?

thanks for the clarification. i'm working on collective database type thing of toys categorized by their animal kingdom heritage... i knew wheelbarrow was a wolf, just was never 100% sure what pinwheel actually was, given the added cartoon vibe to his sculpting. however, bringing up the fact that wheelbarrow is a wolf makes sense that gargamel probably wouldn't have 2 wolves in the fight figure lineup.

The only thing I wish is that they were bigger.
