Bon, bon...i like this nice head. A new touch of fun and sweetness, plus Garamon is such a creepy-cutie. The red one would surely be a tasty treat if it were edible, all shiny-strawberry-candy-like.

But it does not deliver the jolt of out of nowhere whatthefuckism that the original head created in my mind.

Damn, Coop and Shigeru continuously outdo themselves. I'm hooked, this thing is just amazing, and I love it the way it is! The unpainted nags have always been my favorite to own just so that I can see all the little details so well, but I would love to see a painted one because Shig's paint applications are otherworldly.

wow wasn't expecting this, the all black looks so good! He needs hair though! Sadly I don't think people dig this version as much so orginal nags will only go up in the after market...yaaay

That's what I was told too. Makes the Raw Power and flesh Nags even sweeter.

there is one slight drawback to the new head shown,,no more painted eyes

unless shigeru has alternative plans,,blinking handpaint eyes would be psycho (in a good way )

for me,,the painted eyes are one of the nag highlights...

Now I might be on board with that idea; having the new doll eyes painted. I agree, the eyes on the nag was the highlight for me as it added a lot of personality to the figure. The doll eyes, while it does add to the creep factor, loses something.

I think the OG head definitely offered way more of a creepy/gross feel, which is what I love about it. BUT, no point in creating something new if it's just going to do the same old thing. That being said, I dig it!

I do hope he decides to match the eyelid color to the vinyl though.

I would also love to see a new body sculpt.

far be it from me to comment negatively about anything. I didin't realize I had no right to an opinion since I hadn't made a toy ....sorry. I will refrain from being the only person not gushing with praise lest i come under further attack from an artist with a fragile ego.

I just assumed from your comment that you had been able to produce far more toys while under the same time and budget constraints as Shigeru, and I wanted to see the results of your labor. Sorry that you took it the wrong way

I didin't take it the wrong way at all....it was obviously a comment designed to undermine my "authority" on the subject, but it really doesn't bother me. Just don't expect me to take it lying down.
Personal attacks aside, I think we all have equal right to our opinions on this board. I hold no ill will towards you, so I hope you can do the same.

I understand that this toy thing might not be Shigiru's first gig, and his work speaks for itself, I'm not knocking his talent. It seems to me the Nag hype train tends to eclipse a lot of the more prolific talent that is developing right under our own noses.

I started out as simply another fan of Shigeru's work, like anyone else, and have had a great time collaborating with him, and now consider him a friend (to the extent that you can be friends over the internet.) As such, I would defend him the same way that I would defend anyone else I consider a pal.

Making toys is hard work - even harder when you are doing it out of your own pocket, in addition to working a "real" job. My hat is off to anybody who does it that way, it is not a get rich quick proposition by any means.

If you feel that there are other guys not getting the attention they deserve, by all means do everything in your power to turn other people on to their work. Better yet, buy their stuff and support them.

Why do people who obviously don't like either this toy or the people associated with it even come to this thread? I actually come here to get news and pics of this toy, not to hear people bitching about entitlement, hype or sandy vagina syndrome. Of course I don't expect anyone to stop due to my comments but how about more Nags and less nagging.

BTW, I heard the new body sculpt would feature a giant sandy vagina.
