Too bad that video looks more staged then the stint they did on WWE or whatever. What happened to these guys? I still like them but they are more like the KISS of punk rock nowadays.

Will there be tickets handed out or a list for early people? Basically do you need to stay in the store all day if you get there early to keep your place in line?

This will require 6 + hours of travel (total) so I need to know if its necessary to head there really early.

Bear in mind I will need to round up an entourage of derelicts to accompany me and although we're all really good friends they can be hard to locate sometimes. Its been a long time since I hung out with these guys so I'll probably buy them each a hand paint for old times sake. If I give them the $$$ early they'll waste it on crack or liquor so this has to be done right.

Finally will Danzig be signing Misfits stuff or just his solo stuff?

No one even said the Misfits are coming. It's a Secret Base, Balzac, and Osaka Popstar event at the moment. Maybe Jerry will show up, but I figure he is just gonna take the day off.

The TT info was mainly a question for M3COMP, definitely wouldn't expect you to know the TT store logistics Ryan.

I was joking about Danzig being there but I do tend to travel with an entourage of vagrants when in Manhattan. They help keep me out of trouble and really I miss the good times with those guys. I'll probably sleep in an alley in the Bowery after the event then go home the next day.

I was going to time travel but if you guys think its a waste of time I'll probably take the train.

I actually have no inside info on this event...I would check the TT website for details...as I am in the dark about details as well...

as far as I know, however...there have never been tickets handed out at a TT event...but I haven't been to every event by any means...

I'll ring every buzzer on random buildings until someone buzzes me in then I'll sleep in the alcove or something. It'll be ok. The exra toys will keep me warm somehow. Alcoves are better if its chilly than alleys really.

Next someone will tell me they rounded up all the vagrants and shipped them off to Gitmo, this might suck...

No tickets - they do it first come, first serve and it's going to be at the showroom, which is across the street from Toy Tokyo (their gallery). Ain't no way they can have it in the store and High Five is on it's way out.

rumor has it -- bad location and low sales. C'mon, hipsters pump their money into the million+ co-ops in the area and there's no way they have the money to afford anything. They walk through oooohhing and aaaahhhing but keep on walking out through the other door.

My guess is that if someone did a PBR can that was also a vinyl figure they'd buy it. Fucking lame, lame, lame.

Just to quash the disinformation that has been badied about on the internet about this information, I wanted to touch on a few things about the event this Monday...sorry if you already know all if this...but Lev wanted me to let everybody know the scoop:

-Tickets for buying the toys at the event (the GID sets esp.) will begin being handed out at 1 p.m. when the store opens at the store...TT wanted to avoid the worry that not being in line at the event would mean you don't get a set...so unless anything changes, once you get a ticket, you can buy a GID set...and one of each of the other exclusives if you like...Bats and Obakes.

-The sets will only be for sale at the event and not on the phone (sorry folks, but I had no pull on this one). If there are any left, they will be sold on the website...I'll announce here if there are any sets going up that night...they wiould be for sale on Tuesday.

-EVERYTHING is taking place at TT and not the Showroom or High Five...people seem to be confused about this on different sites...so just letting you guys know that tickets are being handed out at and the event is at Toy Tokyo only!

that's all the basic details for now...i'll ask Lev if he wants me to list anything else...but that's the major news...
