The zag is a different story all together. The reason people are going to keep them and display them is because there has never been a solid clear zag released before. It's all about the thrill of the hunt with this one. If you want a solid evil, you should have to search hard for it, but if you want one to paint, these guys are fantastic. I'm painting all of mine....end rant....
but...
can I enjoy a white/flesh/blue/grey/pink/yellow unpainted toy for its' sculpt? my wife collects flesh unpainted kaiju/toys because she loves the way they look. her first rxh she owns is the devilman chaos cos it's part flesh. and i love unpainted figs be it for customs or not. i paid for it I can do whatever I want with it, or not. btw, i only collect unpainted rangeas for that same reason. and yes I will paint over some one day when I get my airbrush n paints...

Sorry if I offended you.
Ahhh so I know know how to piss you off, Hiddy sucks !

Yes kidclam, you may enjoy whatever you like. The issue is not enjoying these. I enjoy them too, and I'd love to have a pure white one to display proudly, but these aren't it. There was a white figure released and if you want that figure you should have to search and find it like everyone else did. These figures have a sole purpose, and that is to paint or dye or tar and feather or whatever, but not to leave them white, because there was already a figure released for that purpose.
Wouldn't it suck if you shelled out 200 bucks (HA!) for a figure you thought was super rare and be displaying it proudly in your collection, only for a few years later the same thing to come out and people were displaying the same thing for 30 bucks? It would suck. I know if I displayed one of these SOLID white figures for the purpose of displaying it, I would feel like a fraud. I would always feel like I needed the "real" white evil in order to be complete. Maybe it's just because I have a good conscience, or maybe it's because I'm obsessive about that kind of thing....

It doesn't suck. I paid about that for my white unpainted Evil, a while ago, and it came from an OG RxH collector on the board. No regrets. To me, knowing where it came from in a "pre-SOLID" world is what's most important. AND, I will continue to hunt the Bigaro, even after it is potentially released as a SOLID figure for $30. I will certainly be more discerning about where or who I buy it from, but will happily pay for the real deal.

UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUMMMM........Nope. I'd much rather buy this for $30 than the OG for $300. This will do for me.

what's funny is that I bought GID blanks for customizing not realizing their value if I never even touched them. Oh well.

No, the intent of my post was to say that I don't think it sucks that there is a $30 version of the white unpainted Evil is out there.

the bxh is probably due to the fact that its made in china. if secret base had been made in china it probably would have been bootlegged long ago.

I've already taken the oath...
That's the only reason I buy them. I buy at least 2...one to paint and one to keep. but the one's I keep, I leave the tags on them.

I think the blue release of Gargamel and flesh of RxH have the same purpose but the appeal of the white on all the releases (not just RxH) from K-T are great to collect without painting them... which is good for most people. I am still pissed when Rumble Monsters re-released most of their rare figs... the ones I paid a lot for... but they suffered for that. I don't think RxH will have that same effect because of the overall concept of the Solid White. I feel for those that traded big for these. WORST practice!! That's why I NEVER buy Rumble Monsters.
Besides the yellow Damnedron, what figures did RM re-release? I'll still buy their stuff because I think it's awesome.
For some of the super hard to find stuff, I wish they would do re-issues, and maybe just do different headers to distinguish old from new. With Real Head it seems like the best colorways are also the most expensive/rare (like the first Booska Mutant Head) so it would be nice for more than 5-20 people to have them.

All this talk of bootleg rxh, the one way to tell if it's legit, boil down the vinyl and see if there's some crack in it.

actually bootleg is not that tough to spot. A bootleg normally have a big difference in the size.
If we concern about bootleg that custom paint by someone to disguise / pretend to be some painted original one. We better concern about those unpainted one. Coz someone ever mentioned about removing paint from a painted one to act as an unpainted version. I don wanna mention his name. But seems like the unpainted one is much risky coz the vinyl is authentic. How could we know the unpainted one is not one that had paint but washed off ?
