This is kind of an interesting Mav. Hard to comment too much without seeing it in person, but it combines a few different paint techniques and looks like it's clear based. I like it when Naoki paints the fists in one (or two) colors. He usually does that with more simple color apps on the figure. Looks like he went all out on this one. I dunno - pretty strong contrast of the black fists and light colors. Need to see it in person!

I'd say it's definitely the clear yellow base.

Well, that's good. I've never liked clear grey vinyl, though the KT releases (especially the secret) are really nice.

I'm on the fence about that Maverasu though. Metallic Blue, purple and black on clear orange? Very strange color combo....

This is one of the best zyurai released of late.

That Zyurai is very similar in style to the insanely rare Spring 2008 Patchworked monsters Maverasu. Really impressive. Could not track down that Mav, wonder if its as rare.

Agreed, very cool piece...don't hold much hope for finding one though. That Mav you're talking about was an edition of 2...goddammit! Hope there are a few more of these.

Sharp observations.

While there are about 5 or 6 of these Zyurais, it is a higher run then the pachi summit mav. I am happy this time a couple of them went to solid collectors coming all the way for the Fest.
