Like they were planning this to go with the Chaos from last year than said "Oh yeah, you got that kabuki mask right? Slap it on!" The first one FITS. This does NOT. Too bad, because an Evil in that color sans-kabuki would be cool.

Re: Didn't see this coming... I didn't get the Mandarake devilman evil because it was too many bits and pieces of color. I liked the Chaosman version.
This Ichibanboshi Evil makes the Mandarake Devilman look minimal.

Re: Didn't see this coming... This guy (not the Ichi version, but the first/orange-milk version) is WAY better in hand. The orange body is kind of opaque vs. right out solid, a little bit of light slides through and it's really bright. The silver on the chest is nice and didn't show well in that original picture. It's really well rounded over all. I wasn't sure from just the pic, but I'm glad I took the plunge because it's much nicer in person.

Re: Didn't see this coming... Gorgeous figure, in iron horse's photo I thought for a second it was orange painted on milky white vinyl. The yellow kabuki would have been great had they also switched up the body to a different color with some offsetting sprays to make it more congruent to the first one.

Re: Didn't see this coming... I keep coming back to these pics. This figure looks so good. I know masking isn't everyone's cup of tea, but it's starting to make sense more and more to me. The new Chaosman looks excellent.
Free hands will always be welcome and wanted, but I'm starting to "get it" with a lot of the new stuff. RxH was never like other vinyl companies, and a lot of fight figures are masked anyway. I'm glad Mori still adds a splash of free spray or two to keep it ..ahem.. "real".
