was on the fence when I saw the proto of the new EVIL sculpt, but I was pretty sure that I would be in love with it when I first see a painted one....and now.....YES !

I really like how Mori redesigned the Evil's distinctive 'horns' into a more insectile form. The overall design looks like it was influenced by 1st form "Imperfect" Cell from DBZ. Very appropriate.

The only part of the sculpt that bothers me is the reconfigured 'probe' arm- the shape is a bit amorphous. Even though Chaos and Ohgan Bat use the asymmetrical mutant theme, all of their parts tie together into a tight sculpt. This arm sticks out from the rest of the design- maybe a stinger or claw instead? I'll probably change my mind when I have one in hand.

I have 2 issues with this guy: 1- I don't like the cleaner/straight lines on the head, I like O.Bat because, like Chaos, he's so chunky and obscure. This is a little cleaner. 2- I see Evil, but I have to strain to see O.Bat. Yes, I see the chest most clearly, but I never knew he was an insect, I would have guessed this is part Evil part random bug before being told. It's not as clear as Akro Mutant is to me.

It's fun though to see them all mashed up. I'm not sold on MZ3 yet, I'm not sure how they'll go into the MZ1 and 2 series' well. The style seems similar, but not the same, which is fine but I'm just not sure how into them I am. Maybe they'll get me later on, right now I gotta walk I think.

I like this one, but right now I think i like the Kaiser Head a little more. I will wait until I get one in-hand (maybe painted with clean lines like the last kaiser head was).

That effect reminds me of tinsel, would be sick if they figured out how to make clear based vinyl look like tinsel.

Reminds me of several pieces Ultraman, Baltan, Blobpus and others that were clear and painted but also had tinsel inside.

Me too. Although it looks more like those Ultraman bandai toys than anything else. I think it's because it looks like it's wearing a mask.

This guy is huge,super-chunky and almost day-glow orange! He lets his presence be known.
