Holy Captain Crunch! I got mine in yesterday and after working 13 hours that was even better than the vodka tonic I had for "dinner". The photos really don't do this justice in showing the color, detail and scale of this. The patrol car really is a massive piece of plastic - trust me when I say, though, that you will be clearing off shelf space for this beauty!

This set is easily the Toy of the Year for me

So cool, I can't wait for a clear version of the MPC. I need that clear Apache mini set too, but alas, moving sucks.

I'm glad to see Elegab is getting some "props" as the kids say. He totally deserves it, some of the best stuff getting released. No pretention, no "art" snobbery, no "hype based" releases, just great figures done the way the guy wants them done.

I gotta agree. The first of Nari's figures I got were the Grumble Toy mini (?) & the Missilelas and I have been smitten ever since. It's also great that he deals directly w/ his overseas fans.

I agree, I really wish more producers were willing to deal with overseas fans on a direct basis. It kind of adds to the connection for me, being able to deal directly with Nari.

Man, I'm envious seeing all those pics of the MPC. I really have my fingers crossed for the release of a pink version. Maybe clear pink!

Yes! Naritada Shintani (Nari/Elegab) One of the coolest toy makers around. He really respects and admires his overseas fans and I think we have built up a good relationship with him. Like most of us he can't abide flippers and tries to keep his releases out of their hands. I know for a fact he follows skullbrain and is aware of the passion of his fans on this side of the pond. I've been told by him that he does do everything by himself at this time and that is why his releases are limited. I think he has been working harder on the last few releases in order to accommodate his growing fan base. It goes without saying that I am a major fan of his and I can lay odds that we will all be blown away, more than once, by what he has yet to deliver.

If Nari's output is anything to go by so far, he will undoubtably surprise and delight us with future releases - I'm already completely in love with Shuttlegon and the Kaiju Patrol Car can't be far behind.

Did I really need sokmething else to collect? No, but these are too creative and character filled to ignore IMHO.

If there's a toy maker of the year award he's the winner hands down!

My mail order set showed up today and I couldn't be happier! I love how the yellow and pink minis are clear and painted from the inside so they're super shiny and the paint is invincible!

So amazing, I am in total love!

They remind me in a strange way of the old Star Wars dewback figures.

Thats prob why I dig this toy so much! That was one of my favorites as a kid! Just got my package in the mail yesterday. So very cool in person. I can't wait to see what he has coming out next!

Dang just scored the green & the blue MPC but alas no minis to ride, some of my other finds will have to do until then. I haven't been this excited about a set of figures for a long time. I had basically stopped collecting for a while just out of disinterest in a lot of what was out there. Saw these on toybot's blog and the hunt was ON.
