The quality paint app, the super amazing boxing and intricate extras ( mini tanks and inserts which are ALSO packed well) justify the price in the end. I also assume there where paint masks for the gorilla. And there seems to be glued in gems as buttons on the heros chest. These would also add to the cost.
I think the attention to detail is well worth the price.
To just compare these price wise to a bagged and headered toy isn't fair. The box alone for the gorilla had to be expensive. Totally agree! I know I will regret it for sure if I didn't take the plunge. Thanks again for the heads up Rich!

The fact that C was able to score this is pretty amazing.
I think these guys would be flipped on YJA for way more. Typically the flippers on YJA would start posting by mid day, but its been a day and still nothing?!
Neo Gorilla IS HOT!

Neo Gorilla IS HOT! I heard a few got bought up by flippers but these may have went direct to customers. Many people are not buying to flip these days too, a lot more people are just keeping the stuff.

You definitely do not see the lines of people that flip waiting to buy much anymore, most makers have also cut way down on how much they make too and you still don't see many things going for crazy prices unless its from the makers that have always been hard to come by. I moved recently and there is no great ramen here, passable but like in Tokyo it is not. I get a lot of great gyoza, my wife is the master so if you ever make it over let me know!

It sure is refreshing to see a toy getting so much love based on its design alone, though I'm sure in 30 pages someone will be telling us that we're sheep for falling for the hype. Now we can hope that Iluilu is in the mood to paint a bunch more so I can get my hands on some. Would love to get the set of mini owl guys. also this gif is blowing my mind:

Starting from the left of the large backing the kaiju's names given to each picture are Amitsuki, Shinbi, and Musabori (don't see Musabori as a vinly on that board).
