Got bored, made some capes. These are about 4" and will have proper seams by the time the toys come out and will be randomly packed. I bought a big one for Seismic Ace from some site then just thought "F**K, I can make these!" and made smaller ones.
I'm going to make some for some of my other toys because in my opinion pretty much any toy looks good with a cape. Will show more of the mini capes when they are finished and the toys are ready but you can get the idea of what they will look like on a mini-robot from the big one.

Made this......going to cast them up for superfestival next year if the toys are ready. They'll work for any mini toys though. I don't think I'll go crazy on the colors though because base stands are better plain.

Great idea for the cape, but I personally prefer mine full length. Really works so awesome with any figure though, you are right. Loving the stand too, simple, but just detailed enough. would love a whole base backdrop for a display, like Don's but in plastic.

Counting down to when the first vinyls of these see the light of day.

Here are all of the new sculpt pics coming out of Japan. All three new heads are on the tank body.


These are the previously seen heads with reg body/arms and with mace arms:

All right, here's some info.
This is all I have at this time.
I won't have the toys, won't see them all beforehand...what you see is what I know.
There will be super limited, Fort-painted ION MEN at SDCC!
Once these painted ones are gone you won't get them in these colors again. There are about twenty of each in the colors I'm putting up in minimal sprays. The sprays available will be REALLY FUCKING RED or SUPER ELECTRIC PURPLE and they should be on the black, blue, flesh and the red will have purple only.
Since we are all braniacs I'm sure you can guess what the alternate colours are i.e. you'll get blue in both the red or purple spray and the same with the other colors.
Here's the hot tip, because black is so sexy, the red, blue and flesh are more limited than the black.
Like I said, I won't be seeing or documenting these before they go so if you get one, or see them at SDCC TAKE A PHOTO! Put it up here.
There's going to be no other way to keep a track of what comes out in the painted ones since mofos will be switching parts around once they open them.
Skullbrainers are the only ones getting the inside scoop so keep it under your hat....everyone else gets the bare bones flyer below.
Price is undetermined at the moment but I'll do my best not to stiff you too much.

Update.
There is only going to be 88 painted figs at SDCC.
I will only be releasing unpainted for the rest of the year, no guarantees on what the two guys I'm working with will release or who they'll work with.

$25 bucks is as cheap as I can make them, I hope the price is good for you guys.

These are awesome! I definitely need to get my hands on a few of these. I did see them at SDCC but didn't have money. Any plans on a DX size like the resin? So many awesome ways to paint these little dudes.
