 Re: Gargamel Zodiac
An image search produced some pretty hilarious results... but ultimately wasn't very helpful at all - where is this lifted from? Those zodiacs look nice all lined up like that, and Tomy's shrinkies are always nice to see, but those two Thrashies at the bottom have me feeling positively lusty!

^That pic was taken at Ultra Pop in Louisville. Personal collection of Paul LePree, the Ohio Valley's finest toy man. I'd love to take pics of his whole stash but he's too modest.

Thanks. That spot must not have exited when I was last in Louisville... 2002?

 Re: Gargamel Zodiac
Great pics guys! Congrats on the Horse zodiac ^^ I have only been able to find a snake, which seems to have been a bit more accessible than the rest.

I don't even bother because I don't even know how to attain one of these... I might try if I knew, but I do not...

If anyone's ever in NY, Myplasticheart have all the zodiacs in their personal collection in the store. Pretty nice to see in person.

 Re: Gargamel Zodiac
I think there's 3 way to get them, be Friends with them, be a Huge Gargamel Collector or be a retailer

 Re: Gargamel Zodiac
Also LB's sometimes have them (rare chance), and every so often board members sell them for very reasonable prices on here.

 Re: Gargamel Zodiac
I've seen one or two come up for trade here as well since I've joined, now I wish I had taken a shot at them.
Whoever has a collection of these little masterpieces is lucky. I think Gargamel really does a good job of having something for everybody: widely available releases, lots of incredible one-offs, rarer LB items and impossible to find gems like these. I think they have one of the best sale models for their fans, but hey what do I know. You don't see Gargamel collectors complaining very often though.
I'd sure like to get my hands on a few of these little buggers.

True, but John complains with such style and panache!

 Re: Gargamel Zodiac
Several of mine were gifts from Gargamel and the others were all offered to me on here by insanely generous people that knew I had been wanting them for a long time.

 Re: Gargamel Zodiac
Thanks! It's not secret how much I love these sculpts! Hopefully some more will pop up in lucky bags this year and get into some more people's collections! Stop giving me legit reasons to complain and I'll stop. Someone needs to point out the obvious around here and be a voice of reason

 Re: Gargamel Zodiac
I'm not as bowled over by the sculpts as most people seem to be, but I do love the idea of these. I wonder if all 12 have been sculpted, then turned to vinyl in the corresponding year?
