^I love the Gebolf sculpt just as much as the Maza. I was told it predates the Maza sculpt anyway. And both are loosely based on an earlier toy/character anyway.

Re: Target Earth
Also, all hail the Faceless Bull! Honestly it is one of the best original sculpts in the last several decades. Huge in the hand, beautiful and creepy, just a real knockout of a sculpt. It's fine to hate on TE, I think this forum should have this kind of discourse about likes and dislikes, I am just showing some love at the opposite end of the spectrum.

No, neither of those were in my list. Personally I don't care for those 2. Spamper wrote: Are you talking about this?

Ha, fair enough. If there's one thing we can all agree on, it is that Sato-san is not afraid to copy other folk's designs!

Re: Target Earth
I was trying to say that Zollmen's enbankaijyu maza was sculpted before the TE one. Also, for example, he sculpted the mekagorilla and the soto majin (who was never released) at the same time of the original one, putting on his blog photos of painted sculpts for open orders. As I said, he always try to be as fast as he can so people like you would think that he made the original. Got it?

Re: Target Earth
From what I hear t.e. has permission for all these peices. The toy world is small and most artists are friendly. He also does so few and scarce runs that'd they would never effect to big picture for the artist doing full production of they're characters.

Gebora was one of the first TE pieces I really needed. Came out around 2005/6 if I remember correctly.

I was so excited to get one of those, should they have made it to production.

Re: Target Earth
I think what's interesting is Sato-San probably sculpted the para baby Dustman, as he has sculpted many Marmit figures. Maybe if Nag used his work as inspiration he should have the right to use a nag as inspiration in return.

Re: Target Earth
^Agreed, but then I am categorically not a Nag fan.
Didn't realize Sato was responsible for Marmit sculpts, but should have because of the Marmit/Skull Head Butt connection. I keep forgetting there are 0 degrees of separation when it comes to our little slice of collecting culture.
