My Goga, glut and punch finally arrived. The Goga exceeded expectations and I prefer it to the earlier clear w/ guts painted versions. Woot.

Got my newsletter, and it says pre-orders available now, until April 29 (stateside)

Lulubell has the pre-orders up, $170 each. They've been up for a while now, actually. Surprised that they're taking so many pre-orders, or maybe the demand isn't as great as imagined... Don't know how, because I think these color schemes are much better than two Gogas that were released early. Just my opinion, of course.

Just a question on height - how tall are these? From the photo, I would assume 9" or so (standard sized). But I recall seeing some of the OGs in person, and I thought they were about 12". Am I remembering these wrong? EDIT: Preorder site states 11".

I definitely preferred the the darker green with no drills and ordered right off the bat. Those little paws are adorable.

I do keep coming back to the drill hands though, its such a nice paint app and the colors are really nice.. So, it is tough decision. I might just cave and get both..

9.5 inches sounds about right. They are wide and chunky. You could fit about 3 on a detolf shelf comfortably with smaller and/or thinner figures interspersed.

Now I am getting real confused. TAG states 11", and the Medicom website states 28 cm (closer to 12"). I would assume the Medicom website should be correct. But that photo showing it with other vinyls makes me question the size.

I believe these pre-orders are just that, pre-orders. They'll go until the end date because they're just account for how many to order minimum I think.

TAG seems to just order a bunch more than that for some and then the "pre-order" stays up for awhile. Which is nice. Some places (Rotofugi for this example) seem to restock the store quietly if there are extras or abandoned pre-orders on arrival.

These are open ended pre-orders via Medicom. They give retailers a cutoff date and whatever number that retailer sends in is what they get. Judging by the amount of the first Goga colorways being sold here and elsewhere makes me assume not too many people give two shits.

I think it's a matter of people having second thoughts in hand and also against the slew of other releases, in hindsight. If I hadn't gotten a first release I would've waaaaaay preferred the clear with guts by a long shot...

Warning, the drill-armed variant is (more of) a shelf hog.

Seconded! I picked up the silver flake drill dick earlier this year from an awesome boardie, it's my favorite version.

Which sculpts have yet to be Medicomized? I don't know too much about AA but I know that mini-Goga and the infamous Drunk Boy are yet to see any action.. Are there any other sculpts in line?

I wouldn't mind owning at least one of these re-releases but nothing has really grabbed me yet..
