 Re: Gargamel at SDCC 09 You know, about a week or so prior to the Con, I read a few posts on the "Zollmen" thread: specifically asking/questioning if/why Zollmen would ever get the "attention" or clout that SB, RxH, Gargamel, etc. seem to demand. Well, if anyone raises that question again, I think I've got the answer (or partial): Look at the SDCC '09 SB Threads. It is clear now what puts these guys heads 'n' tails above the rest. They don't just have wicked-sweet sculpts, but their paint apps are scandalous!! Plus, when is the last time you saw a Custom/SP/HP by Zollmen? Don't get me wrong, I am NOT hating on the "lesser" companies, but I am saying that the members of the stellar companies (e.g., Naoya, Kiyoka, Mori, Mr. Yoda, Koji, Hiddy) take the time to SHOW the public their shared love for soft vinyl through their beautiful custom work.
