Super-tempted on the bm version. More blood and corpse paint, less runes.

Also I think Velocitron has the upper hand on "The Quickening" this time. Also his Ghoul stuff, and Larvegon, make the perfect companion pieces to the frenzy toys.

Re: Japanese Conan the Barbarian ?
All I can say is that from mild initial interest these toys have grown on me and now I really hope to score one or more soon (actually bought my first one last night but won't receive it in a while). I love this line of toys and that two headed sculpt has really got me excited. Although these may not sell for cheap, I love the cheap look and painting, the proportions of the sculpt, the head sculpt, I find these great in almost everything. I think the header could do with some stronger design and artwork but besides this they pretty much tick all boxes in my book. To be honest those paintjobs on lulubel really don't make it for me, I prefer the minimal paintwork on the originals or this Absolute which I find mindblowing!! Absolute (Phantom version) by Crab Rangoon, on Flickr

Re: Japanese Conan the Barbarian ?
I've been following these guys over here since I saw their stuff at Sufes 58 - LOVE IT! So much, fun, and just amazing to have this style of toy in Japanese sofubi! I finally got a chance to actually talk to Masayuki-san (one of the 2 Frenzy Brothers) at Design Festa last weekend, and today we had a little meeting at Mister Donut to talk about vinyl projects in general and, specifcally, to discuss these: June

Re: Japanese Conan the Barbarian ?
i still love this company and follow their blog religiously, some things are hit or miss though. i love my original absolute but some of these recents ones arent striking it for me- not really into the captain max collab or the extremely minimal paint apps...
however- i saw on instagram that luke was going to set something up with skinner to paint a run, we will see if that goes into fruition

That two headed demon has finished straight on top of my want list. Frenzy is on fire imho.

Re: Japanese Conan the Barbarian ?
That is still my most wanted Frenzy toy, to date. Really like the "outside the lines" paintjob they gave it, which we've also seen now on the Triclops tribute and such. Ugh, unpainted flesh Sirius again, two horribly tempting photos haunting me on ONE page. I'd been following the toys via their blog last year, but was on the fence until SDCC where I saw one up close at PK's house. He had the unpainted flesh one, and ever since I've never been able to find one for sale - but I fell in love. I assume these will all be painted, but I wouldn't mind if I had a chance at unpainteds once again. It's really ball-crushing that a couple of their absolute coolest paintjobs have been Medicom releases, which are only available from flippers for $100+/ea. (puns intended, har har) We also need more Splash Killer. He's too F'ing cool to be left behind in the releases.

Re: Japanese Conan the Barbarian ?
Frenzy is the perfect example of a company polishing the edges, and coming out diamonds. It has a built in market of D&D heads, Conan Kids, S&S mavens, and Metal head, devil worshipers (basically nerds). They may be expensive, but I have a couple coming, and I already know they're going to give me the same feeling I had playing with Cannibal F. Face. They're like finding a vault of vintage toys that somehow managed to make it through the years NIB.
Not all of those are 1/offs either. The 2 head turned out nice, and I really like the guy with the horn in his head as well.
