I've always wanted some sort of cat / wolf humanoid toy. Neko Otoko almost fits the bill. If the larger sized figures eventually do pop up, and he comes out nicely, I would love to own one. I personally think it's one of the better newer sculpts and has loads of potential.

I am confused why Mori decide to hommage his own designs. Please RxH move on.
If RxH keep releasing these I won't buy any of them. I'll track the originals.

Mori obviously does what he wants with a master plan, but I just think the homages are getting old already.

What about a painted clear blue or red or purple chaosman?
Or clear with some sort of innards?

I bought the jyarinko evil and head homage because I thought that was different enough from the originals to warrant it. This seems too close to the originals for comfort.Burnt marshmellow redux also seems to work less well. I am as big a rxh fan as anyone and love almost everything Mori does. That said, I know he is capable of new, fantastic OG spray colorways that made RxH what it is in the first place.

Honestly I'd rather him give these sprays to different pieces. How about a burnt marshmellow Big. That would KILL. Even an Evil or head.

Would LOVE some more clear painted releases, esp. Chaosman. Mori showed Scott and I a clear red unpainted Chaos Fighter back in April, with a black bandana and pink eye.....and of course we pleaded....but he does indeed have a master plan.

And if we can't get clear painted releases how about some homages on new pieces. I would love a purple popsoda colorway big or mutant evil. How about reproducing some of the early head colorways on evil and vice versa. More GID too!

1. They're not repros, really, if they're on a different color/style vinyl.
2. If you own the original, why would you care so much? It shouldn't devalue yours (assuming that's what you care about) and if it does, WHO CARES? Also, just don't buy it if you don't like it. Mori WILL continue new designs (new metallic rub chaos, gid bigaro and akro just some proof of that), it's nuts to think he won't. Why write off the company as a whole? Just weird, I think.

I'm down as long as they're different enough from the originals (like a different colored/style vinyl.) I'd also like to see them on different characters too. I understand , kinda, the "I want them to move forward" concern, but it doesn't worry me because it seems like he is. He's just stopping to drop these along the way as well. I also don't think they cheapen the originals. If you like the OG's more, there's still a hunt to be had, or you own them and in that case these shouldn't concern you since you have what you like.

It's crazy the way Mori's mind works. I have learned so much in the few times we've talked. Everything has a reason. For example, Remember the big no clear anymore scare of 08? Well it kind of turned out to be true. There is still clear though it's different. The Japanese government made them switch to a product that had was less evil kill you shit in it. While that is wonderful it also make the clear not really clear. Or at least not real clear forever. So we all want our sweet clear figs but Mori doesn't want us to get burned like 5 years from now. Dude is fastidious.

How about masking? Everyone love the OG free sprays right? Mori, not so much. In fact he always imagined them with clean precise lines, he's that kind of guy. The biggest problem is that he couldn't afford to make a figure and cover the cost of all the masks he would need. So he built up. Each time he paid for something he could buy a new mask. We are just now seeing the true scope of what he envisioned. Funny how that works.

Oh and I wouldn't worry about people not liking the milky white redux, there are so few being made it will hardly be a blip.
