so true. hmmmmm...@ $200, it's a dilemma. anything under $200, and I would have pulled the trigger. I was thinking like $175....
oh well, i'll prolly regret it later and end up trading my left spleen to get one...

I know nothing about rumble monsters and damnedrons, but do their production pieces really start that much off the bat? Or are shipping costs/store mark-up a factor? Just imagine what the flipper/aftermarket price will be.

The blog says these were done by "RMS Custom Toys". I'm not sure if they are production or custom or what.

Is that just random pieces of stuff being intergrated into Damnedron? I can't mentally comprehend what the stuff could be

Do the math:
Option 1
A blank Damnedron = $85
Having one of the many super talented board members paint your blank damn
=120-ish (give or take)
Cool custom one of a kind Damnedron = around $205
Option 2
100-ish (or much more) run of the the Eater (cool but not that cool)=$300
I'll stick with the first option. Even the Kozik Damn was around $85 (handpainted)
I question the production numbers of all the Rumble Stuff. Span at a few HD-YL & Mini Dams at retail that they got NEW from rumble monster. I thought these were long sold out?
It hurt, but I had to pass on this one.

Well apparently it sold out at that price - so expect more $300 toys, because chances are its Skullbrainers buying it and sending the message that we'll pay 300 for a new release toy.
Plus suddenly I see a rash of sales taking offers rather than stating actual prices, which was one of the Ramos guidelines. Ramos may not be visible at the moment - but lets try and keep RFSO alive and well when it comes to not allowing ourselves to be priced out of the market.

I'm glad I hate Damnedrons, 'cause I don't know if I've ever pay that much for a toy (although I have paid more, once) -- especially one with what's probably a decent sized run number.

i don't think the run is all that big on these. if i'm wrong that makes the price tag even more absurd. and as much as i like damnedrons, a retail price of 300 is definitely absurd.

At that price some lucky people could get a handpainted set. I hope the flippers that purchased this for $300 enjoy their pieces!

Damn....I went way outta my way to be online for this and Bam! $ 300 retail................I love Damnedrons but just could not do it....not even to keep my Damns complete....OK minus that Damn Christmas 15 edition that I have never seen/heard of for sale...anybody got it ...PM me and we can work it out!
My HotRod GID,way after it came out...at the height of Damnedron Fever... cost me not that much more than the Eater !!!........Thanks again SHAPESHIFTA!!!
I cant wait for my Shapeshifted Damn !!! .......at less that 1/2 that and way more visually pleasing.
Oh well the rocket/scud looks wrong anyway.....but I'll probably hunt it in the future though.......I hope a buncha flippers got em and nobody wants them for 300+ and they have to come down to 200 LOL!!!
I do doubt it was edition of 100 though...30-50 max is my guess

I hate to be oppositional but Issac did this with one of his sales threads a weeks or days before his departure from S7. I hate "make offers" when I am a buyer but when I am selling it can be the sweetest nectar of all.

You can be oppositional all you want Glenn y'bastard Although is this case I'm not sure why you'd want to be - the whole make an offer thing sucks for the buyer, because essentially its blind bidding. I'd prefer it to go to the bay in that case. Besides, I thought what Isaac actually did was to say "ask for a price" rather than ask for offers.
I've seen a great trend of keeping prices down lately, and I'd love to see that continue for the good of the scene (deterring flippers) and our wallets.

Really? Wow, we were offered this release, and I had to turn it down. I love RM, Especially the Damnedron. I have every single one, both yellow hedorah versions, everything, I love this toy. But this version? Just a couple tanks and stuff glued to the outside for no discernable reason? It just seems clunky and amateurish for such a clean and sophisticated character. I get the concept -sludge monster attacks and sucks up everything- RAAARRR! I get it, but this just doesn't live up to the lineage in my opinion. It seems like an afterthought. The price tag is crazy too, I think that might be artificially inflated, but I am not saying that, maybe EATER charges a bunch for his stuff, who knows. I will be gladly incomplete on my line with this one.

I think wholesale price on this one was rather high, hence the retail mark-up.

There are far far less than 100 of these produced!
