Post Re: longneck bawer - question
i dont have a bemon, so i can't speak for that, but i don't think the vinyl on the longneck is as nice as gargamel stuff. i have a gargamel hedoran sitting next to be now and i could hurt someone with this thing.

the longneck is very thin in comparison i think. especially in the belly area where the seam is... you can bend this figure to make the seam come apart with no problem

it's a cool figure though. i like the sculpt of it better than the bemon (they are similar to me) and the paint schemes are usually pretty cool from what i have seen.

that strawberry one there i think is new. i'm not a huge fan of pink, but i havent seen another longneck like it i dont think

you should be happy with it, but it is not nearly as solid as gargamel toys

this is the one i have - pretty new also i think. i bought it from super7

Good point is that the figure itself is big compared to Gargamel stuff.

Concerning the color versions, I may be wrong, but so far, I've seen the following versions :
- Green
- Black
- Strawberry (with or without cream on top, the one you are tempted to buy is without)
- Red (pickle's version)
- White 'Mt Fuji'
- White 'Snow' (white vinyl with red eyes)

And then, as usual, you have the unpainted version as well !

I should receive the White 'Snow' version next week, I'm really curious to see how it is in real.

They stand about 10 inches and I held out for a getting one for a while too. When I saw one cheap (75 ducks) I snagged it. I regret not getting on the band wagon for these guys sooner, there is a whole lot going on with this figure, pretty busy and a great sculpt. Could be just me but he seems heavier and thicker in the vinyl department.

pull the trigger already...

yeah the vinyl on these is soft but I think it is just as thick as Gargamel's vinyl. I remember someone sayin that there was a Bemon that was made of softer vinyl so maybe the maker of Bemons is the same maker as these Longneck figures and he just likes the softer vinyl. I think its cool and smells really good. they are easy to take apart and put back together.

I have to say this is one of my favorite figures. Once you hold one, you can appreciate the sculpt much more and he is a big bulky fellow to boot. The red & blue color release wasn't my favorite but I love the 1st green version. The black, Mt Fugi and now strawberry are pretty cool paint schemes too.

was a little disappointed about this fig
when having in hands first time -
expected it to be bigger from the fotos
and its way to soft for my taste
almost like squishy.
but some great colorways,
awesome paintjob - mount fuji rocks
strawberry so cool.
