Please elaborate. What is this "goofy shit' you speak of?

Right on, When was the last good fight fig out....It's been a while.
Why not have pushead, do a handpaint of the Gargadeath. I'll pay good money for it.

thanks koji! i'm sure i'll be stoked. but what would make me break into a full on thrashin mosh would be a full set of 7 fight figs with a gargamel ring! i think i would just get that, leave the con and not return until next year.

I'd love to see more Smoking Corps and Dokuromen, but I think you get to a point where there's not much new you can do to a specific design. Here's hoping for some more Den Ace action...

Im sure by 'goofy shit' you mean dragamel, pollard, killer whales, multi-colored hedorahs. etc. somebodys gotta make that stuff, cause it has an audience.
garg fight figs are awesome, but secret base has the fight figs locked RH is also doing the fight thing.
cumberlain is by far the sickest garg fight fig IMHO.

Just to be clear Pollards are not a Gargamel toy, they just released two version for the Bawana/Biskup the show.

I still hope they do another video game homage like the ghosts and goblins set...I guess that is probably more goofy shit though!
I also would like to see a new "set" of fight figures. That gray/clear last year was awesome.

The gargamel fight figures don't have as large of an audience as the mini's and bootlegs. They tend to sit on the shelves for awhile, even the last gargadeath was around for awhile at Thrashout. They are probably focused on what they know will sell out fast.

It seems that way. The existing fight figures haven't seen new colorways for awhile now. If they're going for the most expedient bottom line as most businesses do, this would explain why the Bwana collabs seem to be the hottest thing going for them now. His appeal, obviously, goes way beyond the kaiju collecting scene. A Bwana/Gargamel or as we recently saw a CircusPunks/Gargamel collab is not going to sit on shelves for months before selling out. While many of us may prefer "pure" Gargamel, who can blame 'em, if only from a biz perspective?

i completely understand why they do what they do... i'm just expressing my desire for some new fight figures. colorways or maybe a new sculpt (as long as it isnt 'goofy' ).
and as far as SB having the fight figs 'locked'.. i think the gargamel fight guys are far more menacing. they feel like they want to kick ass. aside from the bees and the skullwing the SB stuff has a friendlier feel. especially the ghosts, they look like they want to hug you.

i think when the ghost wasnt a ghost and he was alive he got in a fight and tried to hug his opponent and got his ass whooped leaving him a ghost...
i think the barbarians are cool but they look like draft dodgers... a fight broke out and they decided to 'explore space'

I almost spit out my gum when I read this. Hilarious.
I agree the Gargamel fight figures are tougher looking than the SB guys. Wheelbarrow is so underrated. He has an eye wound that is so gnarly and he's still ready to fight. Puspirate would hobble over, kick his peg in a general direction, and then have his head removed in one swipe by Wheelbarrow. Please.

New fight figures would be cool as Secret Base seems lacking with their releases.
Release a Gargamel ring (even though its been done by Secret Base) with figures.
More clear with innards stuff.
Large clear coloured Zags with innards or DIY kits.
Release that Gargadeath with the white face.
Den Ace rocked with kind of a vintage feel. Continue exploring that direction.

Ha, was literally about to make a post requesting more Garg fight figs the other day. I think they have TONS of options left to do with the current sculpts..
I look at that same ring pic atleast once a month, sick.
