Post CCP Muscular Collection
I wish I didn't miss out on these. I have been a fan of the M.U.S.C.L.E./Kinnikuman toy line since I was a kid.

That shirt is insane...I don't think the original preorder had pics of the shirt. If it did, I would have ordered.

I was on the fence about these but have been very impressed with the pre-release photos, so I grabbed Buffalo Man as a matter of regret-prevention. Should be here by the end of next week. Hope to be able to land Wars Man and the forthcoming third figure as well. Very curious to see what these are like "in person." I'll post photos when the Buffalo shows up.

yeah i actually preordered both from KT awhile ago, they didnt have the shirt set at the time, but sent me the set as its the same price as buying the pieces separately. the figures are really cool, although im still trying to figure out how to configure buffaloman's legs so he stands with the right balance

I saw the set with the t-shirt on KT over the weekend and was just staring at the buy button, then checked out better pics on the blog and they were gone! The price was really great for that set.

only the newer series from the 90s has been translated into english. it's called Ultimate Muscle

check out http://toriyamaworld.com/kinnikuman/kinnikuman1.html

they have translated a lot of chapters, but not nearly all of them.... and unfortunately they skip around a lot :?

Damn, now I'm really ticked I skipped looking at some better pics. My big thing was I couldn't gauge well enough what the deal was with them from the KT pics.

the original series has never been professionally translated. the new show is not as good from what i understand... especially the one dubbed for Fox.

keep in mind that the show and the comic are pretty goofy and over the top... these new vinyl toys look much more serious than kinnikuman ever actually was

the kinnikuman character for instance was originally designed as a spoof for ultraman... he would eat garlic all the time for power and would fly around by farting

What's not serious about that?
