Post skull barbarian inspiration?
i was playing with my toys today and noticed the similarity between the skull barbarian's helmet and that of the mysterian from the old toho movie. anybody know if this is where the skull barbarian came from?

This seems rather logical.

And even readily apparent with the photo comparison. ^_^

I believe this would be the case, as SB does do homages to classic Japanese shows, movies, toys, etc. with their lines.

Case in point -- the Kinkotsuman Skull Brain, based on the character from Kinnikuman (remember MUSCLE? that.), not to mention the Skull Brains done in the styles of the King Walder toys (and the BxH combo with visible viscera!), and so on...

Brian, can you or anyone else confirm this?
