Post RxH Limited vs. Regular
My mook came in yesterda, yay :)

As I was looking through the RxH section its I saw the figures are labeled either regular or limited. I think this should they should be labeled "Limited" and "Who are you kidding" :)

Just for the new people who get a copy and think they can actually acquire the regular releases....... good luck !

:)

Who actually tried to get the OB Chaosman? I sent an email when they said, and got it no problem.

There was all this anti feeling at the time so I didn't bother - then I heard rumours they mostly went to ebay - I should have just gone with my gut and ordered one at the time. Glad to hear you got one. It has always eluded me ever since not getting it on day one.

I had no such luck and had to go the YJA route.

Just like most of of the figs in my collection.

Remember you have the edge actually being IN Japan, you lucky sob :)

there is a dedicated trunk line in the Japn sea that connects Tokyo direct to Hong Kong - this would have definitely shaved milliseconds of the arrival time of your e-mail

Actually, I seem to remember something in the original blurb
about a certain number being made available for Japanese customers.
I don't remember it saying they would accept international orders in general.
(And didn't they SHIP out of Japan as well?)
Anyway, seems like most of us here who tried got one ...

Did ANYONE from anywhere else get one direct from OB ?

Regular releases run the gamut on size runs from some very small editions to much larger editions, but, the difference is, they were released publicly, and without limitations or restrictions. Definitely there are some regular releases that are much harder to find than other releases.

Limited figures were made in numbers smaller than any of the "regular" editions, and were not widely released, they were usually specialty items, and were hard to come by, or had a lot of stipulations about how you could get them. (blind bag bonus figures, lotteries, raffles, etc.)

I missed the intial release and posted a wanted thread in BST. I was contacted by "chaos" which I think has been established as Old Balance himself and was offered up one for $129.00 (I guess a Bargain now) but not a week after it was released. I passed as I didn't like being taken advantage of by the source store. I still am looking........
