 SB figures
so i got my first SB fdigure today in the mail...a horro skullwing...it looks great but when i turned it arund the back of the figure that leads up to the little nub part that holds the head in is dented in...it looks almost like they couldnt fit the head on so they had to squeeze and almost fold the cylindrical part that holds the head on in order for it to fit...is this common in SB figures?...it kinda makes the back dent in and you can see into the cavity of the inside of the figure from the back...i would take a picture, but my wife is out of town with the digital camera..anybody else have this problem?

I've had that with a figure or two. I was able to fix it with a hairdryer. Gently heat up the area and then removed the head. On one of them I was able to heat the head area and neck area and get it to fit properly. On the other I actually had to carefully trim away the neck hole a little bit, because they didn't cut the right amount away. You can easily tell if that's the case and remedy the problem. They comeout of the mold with all the holes not cut out. But all the joint holes are molded so you can see where to cut. Like cutting on the line. Just use a new xacto blade and do it slowly.

These get REALLY soft and are easy to work with when warmed.

Only prob i ever had was the grey obake was upside down in the canset and the sheet had taken the shape of the head..I pulled the sheet and filled it w/uber hot water, then used a rounded handle to make it round again and its been fine ever since

JHR - had the same problem and a Hair Dryer (which is hard to find in my house as I have no hair) fixed it right up. Easy and simple. Now Hamm - did you tear the header card or damages the bag when you removed it? It is now worth half of what you paid for it now if you did!

lol...the header card actually fell off of the bag and into the paper shredder i was stupidly standing right above, and i almost freaked, but then i stapled the pieces back together and now the header card is in near mint condition again...i couldnt find a damn hair dryer here either..my wife is out of town and i guess she took the only one we have, if we do have one...im assuming she uses one...it actually got warm enough in my hot lil hands and i finally kinda bent that cylindrical piece that goes up into the head in the opposite way it was bent when it came out of the bag, and now everything looks great...this is my first SB piece and i gotta say im impressed...i like the shininessof the vinyl and the paint job is very nice...i think after this im going after the rainy day pieces

Yeah Hamm-ive found the quality of BxH and SB pieces are great and they will take any kind of rebending you've gotta do..The Dx Sukeros you could run a truck over and not hurt it.. IMO
