 Muton Out for a couple of days..... Sorry for lack of moderation or responses - unfortunately a new years day party landed me with severe food poisoning which struck in teh middle of last night. This also F'd me up for work right at the wrong time, and even going online was a bit much until now. Looks like it might be another couple of days until I am around again.

Pedialyte or boost should be good for that, but if you get sick of drinking that garbage, gatorade should also be able to replenish your electrolytes!

Gatorade always does the trick for me. The aches and pains that linger on for the 3 or 4 days after suck worse than anything. Hope you get to feeling better Mutton.

Hope you get to feeling better Mutton. yes..Gatorade helps cause you pee a lot, but then you do that with just about any other liquid as well. It does tend to work a little better...Gatorade, Vitamin Water, that sort of stuff.

I have been there. I remember my girlfriend waking up the next morning and saying to me, "have you honestly been throwing up for 10 hours straight?!"
Could not believe what a kick in the ass that was.
Yeah, definitley try to sip as much fluid as you can.
It also helped me to remain propped up a bit in bed, or next to the toilet.

Nothing worse than a bad case of tha trots! I wouldn't wish this on anyone,had the same thing a few weeks before X-mas,took about a week to get my strength back.Gatorade will do the trick and try eating a little dry toast just to keep something on your stomach..I truly feel for ya Carl and hope you get to feeling better..

Food poisoning is nasty. I had it earlier last year. Nasty shit.
Hope you got some DVDs for Christmas. Watch those.

Did you eat those little Jose Ole Mini Quesadillas? Man, I ate a box of those for dinner one night cuz it was cold and I didnt feel like going out. There were some noises I havent heard before. It was like the Battle of Middle Earth in there, and the torch of Gondor shot flames out my backside. A New Years not soon forgotten! Anyway, Godspeed!
