That Evill is gonna cause some trouble eh? Isn't there already an unpainted white? Or is that one not glossy?

Oh is it ? That is really a trouble for those who paid HIGH on the YJA long time ago for scoring an unpainted white. Or... you are talking about the GID ?

Not my picture. This was from the RxH exhibition. I think Data posted this before. From my collected RxH pics there are some people on this board that have the original white Evil and Chaos. I wonder how different they are? Maybe the weight is lighter on the new ones? :?

Lucky Bag 06 - Don't know about matte v. glossy, or whether the LB '06 version perhaps had a unique header (i.e., not the basic Evil header) that could distinguish this Solid Evil from the LB version, but absent one of those factors, I think this is the first Solid that is potentially a RxH 'reissue' with no changes whatso ...

See http://www.skullbrain.org/bb/viewtopic.php?p=230020 for eldorado's rant back when this Evil was the subject of speculation only.

The 06 lucky bag has no bag or header. The only way to distinguish the two would be to see the neck joint. The Solids have a hole in the neck where the tag is punched in. The o6 wont.

This is a straight re-issue and bothers me. At least the chaos has a different eye.

O well I guess.

I think all the people that buy these solid figures should take this oath:

I SOLEMNLY SWEAR TO PAINT ALL FIGURES IN THE "SOLID" LINE OF VINYL FIGURES MADE BY KAIJU TARO, OR ANY OTHER FIGURE THAT REPRESENTS A PREVIOUSLY RELEASED FIGURE BY ANY COMPANY. I WILL NOT REPRESENT THESE FIGURES AS ORIGINALS IN ANY WAY, NOR WILL I DISPLAY THEM UNLESS THEY ARE AWAITING TO BE PAINTED.

I've already taken the oath...

I really think they should have just picked another color, maybe neutral. I think the blue release of Gargamel and flesh of RxH have the same purpose but the appeal of the white on all the releases (not just RxH) from K-T are great to collect without painting them... which is good for most people.

I am still pissed when Rumble Monsters re-released most of their rare figs... the ones I paid a lot for... but they suffered for that. I don't think RxH will have that same effect because of the overall concept of the Solid White. I feel for those that traded big for these.

Now that's nuts! You don't really want me to try and paint ruin a perfectly good blank toy do you? Let me paint the picture with my words if I painted it:

"Hey what's that, a huge blood clot or turd or maybe you saved your tonsils when removed? Or perhaps it's a fur ball collection?"

"No, it's me trying to paint some friggin' toy, sorry god, I'll banish it from this tainted orb."

I think that these are STRICTLY intended for customizing. That's why KT releases them. Not so people can start a white collection. If you want a white RxH figure, I wish you happy hunting for the originals. I think that if you're doing it just to collect a white set, make it your goal to find the lucky bag ones so that people don't complain too much and they stop making these SOLID figs.

People whine when someone "ruins" a production piece to customize, and by releasing these, it does away with all the hostility (as long as they get painted).

I think KT was smart for choosing white, because any other color would have made them "just another colorway," but this way, they are all the same and are to be used for the same purpose....PAINTING! (or dyeing, if you're into that [I'm not anymore])

They could have chosen off-white/eggshell and just as much could have been done with it and it wouldn't be a re-release.

They're MEANT for customizing, but it's crazy to think people buying them will ONLY paint them. Just like the clear Zag at S7.

With all these flesh blanks, white blanks and painting over existing rxh figures, I was wondering if there is ever a legitimate concern for fakes being reproduced? I mean some of you painters are so good that I feel people, including myself, could be completely duped. Just wondering.

It'll come to a point of buyer beware.....not to buy a figure that can be dup'd without the header....oh....but that can also be dup's as well with the right printer and paper....
